- DESC: 3040-01-123-6282, Part Number 3269438, the item to procure is a PAWL, PRIMARY. Requirements are: PAWL, SECONDARY (3040-01-123-6282) FOR THE MK19 MG IS MACHINED FROM STEEL STOCK, A STEEL INVESTMENT CASTING, OR A WELDMENT. HEAT TREATMENT AND PHOSPHATE COATING REQD. APPROXIMATE SIZE IS 1 1/2IN X 3/4IN X 2 1/2IN. END ITEM IS MK19. Requirement is for a 3 year IDIQ (Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity) contract with a guaranteed minimum contract quantity of 600 EACH and maximum contract quantity of 7,000 EACH, PAWL, PRIMARY. FOB is Destination. For use on MK19 Machine Gun. Estimated solicitation issue date is 22 September 2008. The response date listed is an ESTIMATE ONLY. All or a part of this action is an unfunded FY09 requirement. It is anticipated that award of this acquisition will not be based on price alone. The Government reserves the right to award to other than the offeror with the lowest price or the highest rated (lowest risk) offer. See Section L and Section M of the solicitation, once posted, for additional information. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same.
