- Department of Veterans Affairs; VA Boston Healthcare System, 940 Belmont Street, Brockton, MA 02301, has a requirement to procure Ophthalmic Cryosurgery System, brand name or equal, It is required that the contractor meets the following requirements: Contractor Requirements: The internal thermocouple must provide precise tip temperature monitoring for every freeze to assure adequate freeze performance with each treatment. Must be completely autoclavable for added convenience and patient safety. Packaging must include: Control Console with integrated 5ft. probe line yoke assembly Yoke Probes storage rack Features must include: Excellent thermal conductivity Temperature gauge for both cryoprobe tip and thermocouple ensures adequate freeze with each treatment Rapid freeze and quick defrost Accurate and easy-to-read pressure gauge Probes with shaft connect at the handle for added patient safety Wide choice of probes for every lesion and location Console with integrated storage area for 5 tips Autoclavable probes and shaft Delivery Instructions: Please deliver to Ophthalmology Section, 8th floor, Jamaica Plain A fixed price contract is anticipated and will be awarded. The NAICS code for the procurement is 339112 with a standard size in number of employees is 500. The Government does not intend to pay for information solicited. All concerns having the expertise and required capabilities to provide a, Ophthalmic Cryosurgery System, brand name or equal, must request a solicitation. All requests for this solicitation must be submitted in writing to Contractor Kimberly Perkins at Kimberly.Perkins3@va.gov no later than September 24, 2008.
