- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 50 Irving Street, NW, Washington, DC 20422 seeks a qualified A/E firm that specializes in design to expand the existing parking garage. This project incorporates 138,000 square foot expansion of the existing three story garage to provide for an additional 269 spaces. This expansion is due to the loss of parking for the construction of the Fisher House schedule to be built on existing lot #2 loosing 209 spaces, and the construction of the DOM building in parking lot #1 with an additional substantial parking space loss. Firm must be located within a 200 mile radius of the VA Medical Center, Washington, DC 20422. Qualified firms must submit their completed SF 330 to the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center (90C), Attn: Dorrence A. Carrington, 50 Irving Street, NW, Washington, DC 20422. Firms must submit four copies of the SF 330 w/ NO PHOTOS. The SF 330 can be found on the GSA forms website: HTTP://WWW.GSA.GOV. The VA will shortlist the firms utilizing the SF 330 form and interviews will be limited to no more than five (5) selected firms based on the outcome of the scoring. This is a total small business set aside. NAICS Code: 541310/size standard is $4.5 million. This is not a request for proposal nor will a solicitation package or bidder/plan holder list be issued. Do not fax forms or e-mail forms, they will be rejected. Response to this notice is required no later than September 24, 2008 at 2:00PM Eastern Standard time.
