- Department of Veterans Affairs; VA Boston Healthcare System, 940 Belmont Street, Brockton, MA 02301, has a requirement to procure Ophthalmology Glaucoma Laser, It is required that the contractor meets the following requirements: Surgical Service requests an Ophthalmology Glaucoma Laser. It is required that the contractor meet the following requirements: Ability to absorb melanin and can selectively target pigmented cells while preserving surrounding tissue. Clinical Requirements: An instrument which has been proven to reduce IOP No systemic side effects A single treatment therapy Effective as primary, adjunct or repeat therapy Safe, office-based procedure Protects trabecular meshwork Improves patient compliance Delivery Instructions: Please deliver to Jamaica Plain, Ophthalmology, 8th floor All items must be brand name or equal. A fixed price contract is anticipated and will be awarded. The NAICS code for the procurement is 339115 with a standard size in number of employees is 500. The Government does not intend to pay for information solicited. All concerns having the expertise and required capabilities to provide a, Ophthalmology Glaucoma Laser,brand name or equal, must request a solicitation. All requests for this solicitation must be submitted in writing to Contractor Kimberly Perkins at Kimberly.Perkins3@va.gov no later than September 24, 2008.
