Description
Department of Veterans Affairs; VA Boston Healthcare System, 940 Belmont Street, Brockton, MA 02301, has a requirement to procure MRI Injector, It is required that the contractor meets the following requirements: SPECTRIS SOLARIS EP MRI INJECTOR, BRAND NAME OR EQUAL -Injector must be a single mobil pedestal that can easily roll from front to back of MRI scanner - -System must be 3T compatible - -Must communicate from scan room to control room by fiber optic that can easily run through a wave guide - -System must have saline syringe to be able to fill up to 115 ml volume for ease of testing IV as well as chasing contrast - -System must be able to deliver saline first to test IV as well as chase contrast with up to 100 cc of saline - -Must be able to deliver flow rates from.01-10 ml second - -Must have ability to program KVO.25ml every 15,20,30,45,60,or 75 seconds - -System must be able to be programmed transit bolus of contrast and saline with a hold as well as actual diagnostic bolus of saline all on one screen to easily verify accuracy as well as minimize time patient required to stay in scanner. - -Must be able to set a pressure limit from 100 to 325 psi as well as display actual pressure being delivered during injection to give operator comfort of what is going on. - -System must have both battery operation as well as ac charge while system in scan room to assure no interference with mri scanner - -Ability to program up to 6 phases of flow rates and volume per protocols - -Ability to store 32 protocols each up to 6 phases - Delivery Instructions: Please deliver to Department of Veterans Affairs, Jamaica Plain Campus, 150 South Huntington Street, Boston MA. A fixed price contract is anticipated and will be awarded. The NAICS code for the procurement is 334510 with a standard size in number of employees is 500. The Government does not intend to pay for information solicited. All concerns having the expertise and required capabilities to provide a, MRI injector brand name or equal, must request a solicitation. All requests for this solicitation must be submitted in writing to Contractor Kimberly Perkins at Kimberly.Perkins3@va.gov no later than September 24, 2008.
