- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. (I) This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (II) Solicitation W912JB-08-T-4074 is being issued as a Request for Quotation. (III) This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses for commercial items in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-26. (IV) This acquisition is reserved for a small business concern. The associated NAICS code for this acquisition is 334290, standard industrial classification 3669, small business size 750 employees. (V and VI) The Combined Synopsis/Solicitation is W912JB-08-T-4073. This is a firm fixed price type contract for the purchase of 2 Transit Case System to include accessories to ensure full operation of the entire system to include: (1) HF Manpack with DOD Comsec (2) 400 Watt HF-SSB Mini transit case adapter (3) 400 Watt antenna coupler mini-transit two case set (4) Remote Control System (5) Pwer Supply with AC/DC Input (6) Antenna, HF Whip, 16 ft (7) Portable HF Dipole Antenna The following Salient Characteristics are required: 1. Frequency range: 1.6MHz - 60MHz 2. Modes of operations: USB, LSB, CW, AME, and FM 3. Enhanced Frequency Hopping (ECCM) 4. Built in US Government Type 1 and Coalition encryption 5. MIL-STD-188-141B ALE capable 6. STANAG 4538 3rd generation HF Link Automation 7. Tactical Internet capable This request is solicited as advertise only. Funds are not presently available for this requirement. The Government's obligation under this requirement is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which contract award can be made.
