- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format prescribed in Subpart 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the request for quote for the required item under RFQ V03365-8240-A09. A subsequent solicitation document will not be issued. The USS Enterprise Media Department requires replacement of several photographic equipment and software due to extensive use during deployments in the Gulf Region. It is necessary that the brand name Nikon be purchased as an one for one replacement of equipment. Purchasing Nikon photographic equipment guarantees three things, (1) the items requested are compatible to existing equipment and systems currently onboard, (2) maintains the efficiency and proficiency without having to train photographers to use new equipment and (3) ensures our capability to provide continued photographic, video and graphic support to our command and Navy mission.
