- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The California National Guard has a requirement to purchase 1 each Secap Model 3500 inkjet printer and imager, 1 each GHL packaging Model PP1622-MK-combo shrink wrap machine, and 1 each GHL packaging 180 degree curved conveyor. All equipment will be shipped to Sacramento, CA 95826. Quotes must include shipping costs. All vendors must quote equipment of equal or better quality as compared to the part numbers listed above. To be considered for award, offers of equal products including equal products of the brand name manufacturer must meet the salient physical, functional, or performance charactoristics specified in this solicitation. Offers must clearly describe any modifications to be made in the product to make it conform to the solicitation requirements. The following provisions and clauses are hereby incorporated by reference: 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors - Commercial, 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items, 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items. All vendors must be registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR). Quotes are due no later than September 26, 2008 before 2:00pm PST. Quotes may be submitted via fax to (805) 594-6348.
