- Description
- The NESDIS Acquisition Division intends to award a purchase order pursuant to the simplified acquisition procedures on a sole source basis to Applied Dynamics International of Ann Arbor, Michigan pursuant to 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The requirement is for five annual RTS Advantage software licenses, and associated hardware and software maintenance. ADI provides NOAA with company-proprietary spacecraft simulators running the RTS real-time simulation software to emulate the GOES-NOP series satellites. These simulators contain actual satellite CPU component boards used to verify the spacecraft commands and maneuvers prior to operational use. The simulators are also used for software development testing and simulation, and operator training. Interested parties having the capabilities to provide this service should submit their capabilities via email within 9 days of this notice. If no responses are received a sole source a purchase order with ADI will be pursued without further notice. This is not to be considered a Request for Proposal. No purchase order will be awarded from offers received in response to this notice, but offers will be used to determine if a comparable source is available.
