- Description
- The VA Medical Center in Coatesville, PA, intends to negotiate a sole source procurement with Brandywine Hospital under authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2) for blood and blood products plus lab testing services associated with the blood requirement on a 24 hour/7 day basis. Contractor must adhere to all Federal, State, and local laws, rules, and guidelines, including, but not limited to FDA's current Good Manufacturing Practices regulations as applied to blood banks and the regulations of the American Association of Blood Banks. The NAIC for this procurement is 621991 with a size standard of $9 million. The contract period will be from October 1, 2008 through September 30, 2009 with one one-year option. Telephone or fax responses will not be accepted. Responses must be received in writing no later than 3:00 p.m. September 26, 2008. No solicitation package is available. A "Sources Sought" submission was posted in FBO on August 21, 2008. No responses were received.
