- Modification 01 to the synopsis entitled Pre-solicitation synopsis of proposedcontract action for Ares Electric Thrust Vector Control Prototype Risk ReductionProcurement, Solicitation Number NNM08261607R, was posted on August 28, 2008 in order tonotify Industry that NASA determined to put the subject acquisition on hold pendingfurther agency reviews. Upon further reviews, the agency has determined to proceed withthe release of the subject RFP. As a result, this modification to the subject synopsisis intended to notify industry that the anticipated release date of the final RFP is onor about October 1, 2008 with an anticipated offer due date of on or about October 30,2008. The specifications, final solicitation, and any documents related to this procurementwill be available over the Internet. These documents will reside on a World Wide Web(WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application. The Internet site,or URL, for the NASA/MSFC Business Opportunities home page ishttp://prod.nais.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/eps/bizops.cgi?gr=D&pin=62 Prospective offerors shall notify this office of their intent to submit an offer no laterthan 1600 Central Time on September 30, 2008. All contractual technical questions mustbe submitted in writing (e-mail or fax). Telephone questions will not be accepted. Anombudsman has been appointed -- See NASA Specific Note "B". All responses shall besubmitted to the attention of Ms. Sarah Annerton via e-mail to:Sarah.D.Annerton@nasa.gov. Please reference Purchase Request Number 4200261607 in anyresponse. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor the Internet site for the release of thefinal solicitation and amendments (if any).
