- This is a notice of intent to award a sole source purchase order to. The award will be made for Frank Forest Manager,Troskey purchase of contractor re-measure 212 permanent (Continuous Forest Inventory). This procurement is being conducted under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1, for Other than Full and Open Competition and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures.THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION. All inquiries and concerns shall be addressed in writing to U.S. Fish and Wildlife for Region 4 Noxubee Wildlife Refuge. Attention: Nijua Heard, 1875 Centruy Blvd, Atlanta, Georgia 303045, or sent by email to nijua_heard@fws.gov. Telephone requests or inquiries will not be accepted. Responses to this notice shall be received no later than 3:30 PM Eastern Daylight Savings Time, Monday, September 21, 2008. A determination not to compete this requirement is within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements.
