- Idaho Panhandle National Forests-Lightning Creek Flood Restoration. This is a sources sought announcement for four types of construction work under one solicitation within the Lightning Creek and Trestle Creek Drainage on the Sandpoint Ranger District of the Idaho Panhandle National Forests, Bonner County, Idaho as follows: East Fork Lightning Creek Bridge; Lightning Creek Road No. 419 Reconstruction; Porcupine Drainage Road Decommissioning; Trestle Creek Snowmobile Parking Expansion. Estimated Price Range between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The period of performance is estimated from May 2009 to October 31, 2009. This solicitation is being considered for a total HUBZone Small Business set-aside. Contractor’s who are HUBZone certified and who intend to submit a proposal for this solicitation MUST submit their information by email to r1_ipnf_aqm@fs.fed.us or by FAX to (208) 765-7229 for receipt by 4:30 p.m. local time October 1, 2008. Your submission must include (1) a positive statement of your intention to submit a proposal for this solicitation, (2) a clear description of experience performing similar projects and (3) your date of HUBZone certification. Responses to this announcement will help determine whether this project will be pursued as a HUBZone Small Business set-aside, which will be posted in FedBiz Opps. A pre-solicitation meeting will held October 17, 2008 at 9:00 a.m., commencing at the Trestle Creek Snowmobile Trailhead Parking facility located at Mile Point 4.0 on Forest Development Road No. 275. Township 57N, Range 1E, Section 12. A draft copy of the drawings will be made available to interested contractors at the pre-solicitation meeting. Access will be limited to high clearance 4x4 vehicles during the tour. Solicitation anticipated to be issued January 2009.
