Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F3Z3718247A001; this solicitation is a request for quotation. Award shall be made in the aggregate, all or none. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-26, Defense DCN 20080812, and AFAC 2008-0605. This acquisition will be 100% total small business set-aside; the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334290. The business size standard is 750 employees. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is 5830. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 3669. This request for quotation consists of the purchase and installation of Dukane Intercom System or Equal. CLIN 0001: Dukane Intercom System: Headend Intercom with Phone Dukane MCS 350T (1EA), Phones Dukane 9A1111 (13EA), ADM Phone Dukane 9A1110 (1EA), Phone Jack Dukane AT630A-6 (14EA), 2 pr 1STP & 1 UTP West Peen 355 (3EA), Ceilling Speaker Dukane 5A650 (13EA), T-Bar Support Bridge Dukane 677-67 (13EA), Call Button Dukane 9A1765 (13EA), Speaker Back Can Dukane 8A301 (13EA). BRAND NAME OR EQUAL. CLIN 0002: Installation of intercom system and supporting equipment throughout Child Development Center #3. The following provisions and/or clauses apply to this acquisition. Offerors must comply with all instructions contained in FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items. FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation -- Commercial Items (Jan 1999): (a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. NOTICE OF SITE VISIT A pre-proposal site visit for this solicitation will be held at Travis AFB, CA. Date, time, location, and specific information are as follows: Date: September 12, 2008 Time: 9:30 AM, PST Location: Visitors' Center (Bldg 605) Located outside the Main Gate Travis AFB, CA 94535-2632 There will be a one time visit on September 12, 2008 at 9:30 AM to walkthrough the location of the intercom installation and answer any existing questions. This visit is open to all interested offerors but will be limited to two personnel per company. All interested offerors will meet in the parking lot of the Visitor's Center (Blding 605), located outside the Main Gate, PRIOR to 9:30 AM, we will then proceed to Bldg 7690, 100 Upson St, Travis AFB. All interest parties shall have current photo ID, driver's license, insurance and vehicle registration. All personnel attending the site visit shall abide by all security regulations and requirements of the installation. All interested personnel shall contact Tsgt James Robinson by e-mail james.robinson-03@travis.af.mil or phone 707-424-7737, no later than 3pm, September 11, 2008 to provide the names of the personnel that intend to make the site visit. Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer.
