- Description
- The USDA, ARS, Western Regional Research Center, Albany, California has a requirement for high voltage paused electric field equipment (HVPEF) for use in food processing and preservation. HVPEF, as a new and non-thermal drying and preservation method for food processing and preservation, has potential for industrial application with benefit of reducing energy consumption and improved quality in the drying of agricultural products, particularly heat sensitive food products. This HVPEF system shall include the following items, or equivalent: 1. High voltage DC regulator power supply, 1 ea Pulse Electronic Engineering Co. Ltd Model HDV-30K5SUD 2. High voltage transistor switch, 1 ea Pulse Electronic Engineering Co. Ltd Model HVS-36K20 3. Pulse generator (20MHz), 1 ea Pulse Electronic Engineering Co. Ltd Model 8021 4. Digital probe meter, 1 ea Pulse Electronic Engineering Co. Ltd Model DPM-3A 5. High voltage probe, 1 ea Pulse Electronic Engineering Co. Ltd Model EP-50K 6. High voltage resistors, 1 ea Pulse Electronic Engineering Co. Ltd Model ER-200AS (RS: 30k omega) 7. High voltage resistors, 1 ea Pulse Electronic Engineering Co. Ltd Model ER-200AS (RS: 2k omega) 8. External 24V supply source for high voltage transistor switch, 1 ea Matsusada Precision Inc. Model RG-36-1.2-L (120V) 9. High voltage ceramic capacitor (1000 pF) – DGH series, 1 ea Murata Manufacturing Co. Ltd Model DHG30-ZM 102K-30K This solicitation incorporates the following commercial FAR clauses by reference 52.212-1, 52.212-2, 52.212-3, 52.212-4, and 52.212-5. Funds are not currently available for this acquisition and award will be made subject to the availability of funds.
