- The Government intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed Price Contract on a planned Sole Source Basis with National Optronics to procure 4 each 3B Blockers for the Naval Ophthalmic Support and Training Activity located in Yorktown, Virginia. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR 13.1, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The North American Industry Classification System code is 333314 (Optical Instrument and Lens Manufacturing). The solicitation number is N00189-08-T-0703 and the solicitation has been posted with this notice. Quotes will be due by 11:00 a.m., 25 September 2008 and may be e-mailed to bonnie.parker@navy.mil or faxed to 757-443-1424, attention Bonnie Parker. Potential offerors are hereby notified that the solicitation and any subsequent amendments to the solicitation will only be available by downloading the documents at https: www.neco.navy.mil or at https: www.fedbizopps.gov, as this office no longer issues hard-copy solicitations. By submitting a quote, the vendor will be self-certifying that neither it nor its principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the quote.
