- Description
- This is a request for information (RFI). The Technology Applications Office is seeking potential sources capable of providing extremely small commercial Ku band super high frequency (SHF) ground terminals capable of continuous data exceeding 8 Mbps full duplex. Terminals shall be a single unit containing all electronics and sub assemblies required to operate on commercial Ku band satellites. Terminals shall not exceed 10 x 10 x 10 inches in size and weigh not more than 12 pounds. Terminals shall be fully licensable through global satellite regulatory authorities. Terminals shall be capable of operating point to point or in a hub and spoke satellite architecture. This is NOT a request for competitive proposals but parties purporting to have the requisite credentials must furnish in writing (white papers) factual information, which clearly supports and demonstrates evidence of such abilities.
