- The Social Security Administration (SSA) plans to purchase "IQinvision" brand Internet Protocol (IP) cameras for use at SSA Headquarters locations, Baltimore, MD. The IQinvision cameras are the only product of its kind available and fully integrated with the currently installed Lenel brand security system at HQ. The IQInvision cameras are compatible with the existing head-end equipment currently installed at various locations throughout the SSA complex. The IQInvision cameras use unique technology which needs to be compatible with the existing equipment. IQInvision equipment is to be used as direct replacement for existing equipment currently onsite. This equipment is proprietary and must be compatible with the existing devices. This notice is for informational purposes only and is neither a request for quotation nor an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation. Interested parties that believe they are capable of providing a camera with the exact specifications can submit a capability statement to Contracting Officer, Denita Patterson via email at Denita.Patterson@ssa.gov NLT 4:00 p.m. local standard time, Monday September 15, 2008. The Government will consider all information from responsible sources, but a determination by the Government not to compete this action is solely at the discretion of the Government.
