- Description
- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile District, intends to award a sole source, commercial items contract for the purchase of warranty upgrades, calibration service and miscellaneous military kit components for 103 ike 304 geospatial assessment tools. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, the Government has determined that Surveylab USA Inc., 8270 Greensboro Drive, Suite 110, McLean, VA 22102, is the only responsible source for this requirement. The Government intends to award a contract by September 29, 2008. This is not a request for proposals and no solicitation is available. Firms that believe they can furnish the required items are encouraged to identify themselves and provide written notification to the Contracting Officer within three days from the date of this synopsis. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Warranty and calibration service includes hardware warranty, operating system software upgrades, product support, instrument calibration, and replacement of worn parts caused by normal wear and tear. Military kitset components to be purchased include straps, chargers, cables, batteries and converters.
