Haley Medical Center, Procurement Business Division (PBD), Bldg 42, Room 201, Tampa, FL 33612 Description Sources Sought: The James A. Haley Procurement Business Division is seeking potential Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOB) or Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) concerns interested in performing a competitive Best Value Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Job Order Construction Contract (MAJOCC) at James A. Haley Medical Center, Tampa FL 33612. The MAJOCC provides a vehicle for a broad range of minor new construction and real property maintenance and repairs. Work to be performed under the MAJOCC will be within the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 236220 Commercial and Institutional Construction, size standard $31 Million. Anticipated disciplines shall include but are not limited to the following: Foundation and Site work Walls, doors, windows, glass Concrete Finishes Masonry Fencing Metals Communications Carpentry Asbestos Abatement Sprinkler Systems Fireproofing Elevators/Conveying Syst. Roofing, Insulation and Moisture Protection Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing Earthwork Demolition Roads/Paving/Curbing Painting Description of the work will be identified in each individual task order. Task orders may range from $2,000 to $100,000.00. Total contract value shall Not-to-Exceed $4,500,000.00 over a five-year period. The IDIQ contract awarded will contain a basic 12-month period and four 12-month option periods. The government anticipates an award of up to five (5) contracts. The government will evaluate offers utilizing the best value source selection procedures described in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR Part 15.3) Veterans Administration Acquisition Regulation Subpart 815.3--Source Selection procedures - Best Value Trade off Process. This sources sought notice is for informational and planning purposes only. It does not constitute a solicitation and is not to be considered as a commitment by the Government. The Contracting Officers determination will be made for the above set-asides from the information received from the qualified sources submitted from this request. All firms responding to this sources sought notice are advised that their response to this notice is not a request that will be considered for contract award. All interested parties will be required to respond to the resultant solicitation separately from their response to this sources sought notice. Interested parties responding to this notice need to provide a one (1) page capability statement to include your status as a Service Disabled Veteran or Veteran Owned Small Business. Submit all information not later than ten (10) days after publication of this notice to the email address below. The solicitation is expected to be electronically posted on or around November 2008. Prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database located at http://www.ccr.gov/ and Vet Biz Vendor data base located at http://www.vetbiz.gov/ before award of a government contract; failure to register in the CCR database and Vet Biz Vendor data base will cause your firm to be ineligible for award.
