- The United States Air Force, 6th Contracting Squadron is seeking sources for a contemplated contract for Corporate/Executive Housing. This Request for Information (RFI) is issued for informational and planning purposes only. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP). It is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. Responses will not be considered as proposals, nor will any award be made as a result of this RFI. The Air Force will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this RFI. This FedBizOpps notice is an announcement seeking market information on small businesses capable of providing the services as described herein. The 6th Contracting Squadron is currently conducting market research to locate qualified, experienced, and interested potential sources. The information requested by this RFI will be used within the Air Force to facilitate decision making and will not be disclosed outside the agency. Should a future requirement(s) evolve from this preliminary planning process, it is anticipated the period of performance will be a base of one year plus four (4), one (1)-year option periods. For purposes of this RFI, the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 531110, Lessors of Residential Buildings and Dwellings and the small business size standard is $6.5M. The Contractor will provide fully furnished lodging accommodations on a rental basis for personnel temporarily assigned to Macdill AFB / Headquarters United States Central Command. Providing 1 bedroom, single occupancy apartments with no penalty for early vacancy. Apartment furnishings include at minimum a double bed, dresser, mirror, nightstand, and lamp. Sofas, microwave, coffee table, end tables with lamp, TV, TV stand. Kitchen table with chairs, and kitchenware to include pots and pans, cutlery, dishes, glassware, and implements such as can opener, spatulas, etc. Additional Services Include: Telephone: Local service telephone to include unlimited calls to Macdill AFB provided by contractor at no extra charge. Cable TV Service: Basic cable plus expanded channel package TV service provided by contractor at no extra charge. Custodial/Sanitation Service: Contractor provides initial sanitation service before occupancy and after checkout. Contractor provides housekeeping service once per week, to include changing sheets, towels, dusting, vacuuming and sweeping. Linen Service: Linen service shall be provided. Additional blankets made available upon occupant request. All linens, blankets, and towels shall be clean, freshly laundered, without any objectionable odors, and in good repair, free from tears, rips, holes, stains and extensive wear. To provide proper support, pillows will be at least six inches thick. All linen returned to contractor in the same condition as received. If your firm has an interest in proposing on the requirements described above, please provide a Capability Statement to Capt Casey Pease, casey.pease@us.af.mil. The Capability Statement should include general information and technical background describing your firm's experience in contracts requiring similar efforts to meet the program objectives. Interested parties shall not submit more than 10 single sided, type-written pages using 12-point font or larger. Published literature may be any number of pages.
