- The 96th Contracting Squadron, Eglin AFB, FL, intends to solicit and award a sole source Firm-Fixed-Price contract for a Concurrent iHawk System from Concurrent Computer Corporation under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. These specialized systems are used at Eglin AFB, and an identical hardware and software platform is required. Anticipated award date is 19 September 2008. The North American Industry Classification System for this acquisition is 334111, with a small business size standard of 1000 employees. Interested parties may submit their capabilities package to the email address below. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals/quotes. However, the government will consider all responses received prior to the solicitation closing date and time. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
