RFQ AG-3144-S-08-S001, SUN StorageTek Components or Equal *NOTICE TO ALL VENDORS: This RFQ will be amended and extended today, 12 Sep 2008. This amendment is being issued due to the following questions submitted on behalf of the vendors. Amended Closing Date 14 Sep 2008 5:00 p.m. MST Question 1. "This request includes a CU-CONSOL-RMA upgrade kit but there is no indication of what is being traded-in or any reference to an allowance code. We need either an allowance code or the trade-in information." Answer: List of equipment that we want to trade-in for discount allowance on SUN/STK 6540 disk purchase below: 1. 3 Ea. Sun Storedge D1000, 12 X 9.0G disk drives. 2. 2 Ea. Sun Storedge A1000, 12 X 18.0G disk drives 3. 1 Ea. STK D178 Controller 4. 1 Ea. STK D9176 Controller 5. 10 Ea. STK D8176, 10 X 70GB disk trays. Question 2: will this unit be used for a migration or consolidation of data from other controllers either now or later on Answer: Yes for both migration and consolidation.
