Description

THIS SYNOPSIS IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. The Naval Air Systems Command; Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) (AIR 2.5.1.3), Patuxent River, MD 20670-1127 intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Holmes-Tucker International, Inc. (HTII), 2101 Executive Drive Tower, Hampton, VA 23666 for the procurement of six (6) months of extended effort under existing contract N00421-04-A-0001 which provides specialized technical support to the AIR 4.1 Systems Engineering Office. This requirement will have a ceiling value not to exceed $1,000,000 and fulfills an existing need until a competitive follow-on award can be made. This action is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10, U.S.C. 2304 (c)(2) as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. While this notice of intent is for information purposes only, and not a request for competitive proposals, interested parties may identify their interest and technical capability, respond to this requirement, and submit information, which shall be considered by the NAWCAD.
