- Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Purchase Order: Whiteman AFB, TX intends to award a firm fixed price sole source purchase order to Zodiac Data Systems for a maintenance contract for Government owned Zodiac Data Systems - Heim Data Division equipment. The period of performance for this requirement is 22 September 2008 through 21 September 2009. The following equipment will be covered by this contract: 8 EACH; HS100-5200/1 Mainframes 10 EACH; HS100-2815/1 MH144/1 144GB HD Cartridges 4 EACH; HS110-3365 VCR40 Modules 4 EACH; HS110-3700 DCR40 Modules 1 EACH; HS110-3750 DCP40 Modules 2 EACH; HS110-3036 MRG41 Modules 2 EACH; HS110-3380 VCP12 Modules 3 EACH; HS100-2310 W20f/1 Replay Unit Market research has indicated that Heim Data Systems is the sole manufacturer of this equipment and the sole logistic and technical supporters of this equipment. In accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2304c(1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supply or Service Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. North American Industrial Classification Standard 811211 and Size Standard $6.5M apply to this procurement. Vendors must be actively registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at http://www.ccr.gov and currently registered in the on-line representations and certifications at https://orca.bpn.gov/. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement or submit proposals. This is not a request for competitive proposals; however, all proposals received within 10 calendar days of date of publication will be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement and complete the sole source award is solely within the discretion of the Government. The reference number is F4ET1Q8218A001.
