- The National Labor Relations Board intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Lexis and Matthew Bender for print subscriptions to the updates and supplements for various Lexis and Bender legal publications. The Lexis and Bender publications contain copyright protected information which is used by the NLRB attorneys for research and trial preparation. The following is a representative list of the publications: Bender’s Federal Practice Forms Collier Bankruptcy Practice Guide Collier Bankruptcy, 15th Edition Collier Bankruptcy Act Pamphlet Edition Kheel Labor Law Moores Federal Practice National Labor Relations Weinstein’s Federal Evidence United States Code Service These publications contain primary law, narrative analysis, criticism or evaluation of current legal issues, case law and/or statutes, which are organized and indexed for research. The required Lexis and Bender publications are copyright protected and thus Lexis and Bender are the only known source for the updates and supplements to the NLRB's existing Lexis and Bender publications.
