- Description
- The National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) intends to issue on a sole source basis a commercial contract with The Bureau of National Affairs, Inc. (BNA), to renew and maintain NLRB's license subscription to the Labor and Employment Law Library. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. NLRB obtains through this license BNA's Labor and Employment Law Library. NLRB relies upon BNA publications/subscriptions for not only current news stories and court developments in the field of collective bargaining, but NLRB cases organized by BNA's exclusive classification outlines, long regarded as the industry standard, to facilitate retrieval of all pertinent NLRB administrative decisions and court cases. Typically, pension or bankruptcy cases as well as related issues are reported in these publications earlier than in other news sources. The period of performance is for one year with one one-year option period.
