- FISC San Diego Regional Contracting Department is announcing its intent to issue a request for quotation for the following: Item 0001: Delivery of consumable Paint Complex supplies for aviation related repairs. (107) different items including, paint brushes, tape, zipper bags, trash bags, rags, sanding discs, etc. An Excel spreadsheet containing the list of items is to be placed under order is attached. Work to be performed at the Paint Complex located at the Fleet Readiness Center - SW (FRC-SW), San Diego, CA. The NAICS code is 339994 and the Small Business Size Standard is 500 employees. This procurement is issued as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. Multiple award, firm fixed price requirement type purchase orders are anticipated to be awarded as a result of the notice. The Government is seeking quotations for domestic/qualifying country material only. Contractors selected for award will be evaluated on their capability to provide domestic material that meets t! he Government's requirements and their ability to perform inventory control of the Paint Complex. Technical capability, past performance and price will be evaluated. The Government intends to issue the contract for a base year period and three one year options. Inspection and acceptance of all material and services will be performed at Destination. Delivery location is the FRC-SW, San Diego, CA 92135. Standard commercial packaging and marking will be required. The RFQ (SF1449) will contain a detailed statement of work describing the Government's requirements for delivery and services. The RFQ will be available for review and downloading at the following websites: www.neco.navy.mil and www.fedbizopps.gov on or about September 19, 2008. Quoters must be registered in the CCR database to be considered for award. Registration is free and can be completed on-line at http://www.ccr.gov/. In addition, quoters shall complete an electronic Online Representations and Certifications Ap! plication (ORCA). ORCA can be found at http://orca.bpn.gov. Quotes must be received no later than 1:00 P.M., Pacific Standard Time, October 7, 2008 and will be accepted via fax 805-982-5475 or via e-mail nancy.landeros@navy.mil. See numbered note 1.
