- THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS / SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6 updated through FAC 2005-26. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation No. BAQ080066 is issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ). This document incorporates Commercial Items provisions and clauses that are in effect and apply to this acquisition: 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors, 52.212-2 Evaluation and 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certifications, 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions and 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders. This is a small business set-aside under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 115310 - Support Activities for Forestry, the small business size standard is 7 million. Contractors submitting a quotation must be registered in the Central Contracting Registration web site: www.ccr.gov. REQUIREMENT: The Bureau of Land Management, Redding Field Office, Redding, CA has a requirement for Certified Weed Free Rice Straw. Requesting: 812 bales Demension: 3 ft by 4 ft by 8 ft bales - straw cut <= 9 inches Delivered to Forest Service Rd 29N19, approx 1 mile southest of Hwy 36 and 6 miles west of Platina. Map is available upon request. BLM will unload straw. Bales to be delivered daily over a 6 day period72 hour notice will be given by BLM prior to the first delivery. Bales will be unloaded by the BLM INSTRUCTIONS TO OFFERORS: Quotes must be submitted in writing and must include: RFQ number, the company name and address, point of contact, phone number, fax number, unit price, the extended price, grand total, any prompt payment discount terms, and documentation for certification. Offers will be due in this office no later than Wednesday September 17, 2008 by 4:00 PST.
