- The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to issue RFP N00024-09-R-2205 on a sole source basis to Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems (San Diego, CA) for planning yard interface, Performance Based Logistics, and Life Cycle Engineering and Services support efforts for LPD 17 Class Ships electronic systems. The resulting contract will be awarded on a sole source basis because Raytheon is uniquely qualified as the designer and sole producer of the LPD 17 Class Ships electronic systems.
