- Solicitation Number W81XWH-08-T-0467 will be issued on or about 16 September 2008 and proposals will be due on or about 23 September 2008 @ 11:00 AM EST. The Governments requirement is to provide tailored electric arc flash protection garments that provide Level II Protection that meet the specifications set forth in OSHA 1910.303, OSHA 1910 331-335 and NFPA 70-E and the service to retrieve, wash and reissue same clothing on a weekly basis for the USAE Raven Rock Mountain Complex, Fort Detrick, MD. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 812332 with a size standard of $14.0M. No hard copies of the solicitation will be issued by this contracting office. All interested parties can view, download and print a copy of the solicitation and any resulting amendments on or about 16 September 2008 at the following website: https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/. In accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004, all contractors wishing to do business with the Department of Defense must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. CCR registration can be accomplished at the following website: www.ccr.gov. Proposals will be evaluated on a Commercial Firm Fixed Price and any resulting contract will be issued as a Firm Fixed Price Award.
