- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The California Army National Guard has a requirement to purchase blasting or grinding of a concrete floor and complete refinishing/resurfacing services. The floor to be repaired is at the Sacramento AASF Army National Guard Aircraft Hangar located at 10616 Superfortress Ave, Mather, California 95655. A pre-bid site visit is the Contractor's responsibility. Nothing herein shall relieve the contractor from the responsibility of visiting the site, accurately measuring the work or otherwise insuring that the quantities used in preparing the bid are the actual quantities of the work to be accomplished under the contract. By submitting a bid the contractor confirms that he has visited the aforementioned site and verifies that the quantities used in preparing his bid are the actual quantities of the work to be accomplished under the contract. A complete Scope of Work outlining all details of the job to be performed is available upon request by e-mailing jeannie.r.thornton@us.army.mil. Simplified acquisition procedures will be utilized. All contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Proposals, bids, or quotes are due no later than September 25, 2008 by 10:00am PST, and may be e-mailed to jeannie.r.thornton@us.army.mil or faxed to 805-594-6348.
