- The OMB is seeking input from both the Federal and Non-Federal Grant Information Technology community about innovative and cross - cutting systems that either already exist or will need minor developmental modifications in order to meet the requirements of the Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act 2006 (Transparency Act). Specifically, the Transparency Act requires that a grant “subaward” pilot be implemented and that the actual grant “subaward” reporting system be operational by January 2009. This RFI provides an opportunity for respondents to submit comments and suggestions as they relate to possible candidates for the grant “subaward” reporting system (to be operational by January 2009); and to submit their feedback on the costs and other operational aspects of implementing such a system.
