Description
GSA is issuing a refreshed solicitation effective May 19, 2008, electronically only. The Schedule is entitled FSC 71, Part II, Section K Comprehensive Furniture Management Schedule. (The solicitation number is 3FNC-B3-003001-B, Refresh #8. This refreshed solicitation replaces the solicitation (Refresh #7). Interested parties may access the solicitation at http://www.fbo.gov. This site provides instructions for downloading the solicitation files. Search using Solicitation Number 3FNC-B3-003001-B. The solicitation includes clauses, which must be completed and returned by all offerors. There are numerous changes to the solicitation from the previous refreshed solicitation which include the deletion of SIN 712-5; addition of SIN 712-97; deletion and replacement of certain clauses; and updated vendor responses information, i.e. Subcontracting Plan, Pricing Proposals, Commercial Sales Practice, etc. Contracting questions should be directed to the points of contact listed in the solicitation. SIN 712-5 Packaged Environments will be removed from the solicitation effective October 2008. Therefore, new offers for this SIN will not be considered under this solicitation. Vendors, currently awarded SIN 712-5 shall continue to accept purchase orders and honor contractual arrangements/agreements until the deletion occurs, effective October 2008. SIN 712-97 Ancillary Repair & Alterations has been added to this solicitation effective May 2, 2008. Vendors are encouraged to submit offers for Ancillary Repair & Alterations under this solicitation. The Federal Supply Schedule period is continuous. Resultant contracts will be for five (5) years, with three (3) five (5) year options to your contract, for a total of twenty (20) years if performance is satisfactory. The options are not guaranteed. Some of the measurements of satisfactory performance will be such things as adequate sales, quality performance, and timely IFF payments. One of the most important evaluative factors will be participation in the GSA Advantage! Program. None of these options will be exercised unless your firm has posted its contract information to the GSA Advantage! Website. All offers received will have 6 months after award of a Federal Supply Schedule contract to submit their electronic catalog to GSA Advantage! website. All contracts will be indefinite delivery-indefinite quantity contracts with a $2500 guaranteed minimum for the contract period. All contracts to be awarded include Industrial Funding provisions. We actively solicit offers from 8(a) firms for the products/services found under this MAS solicitation. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered. Two (2) completed copies of the solicitation along with any required attachments, also in duplicate, shall be mailed to: General Services Administration-FAS; National Furniture Acquisition Center (3QSAF); Attn; 2200 Crystal Drive, Suite 400; Arlington, VA 22202 The solicitation is available on the Internet at http://www.fbo.gov as a Microsoft Word format document. Interested parties who are unable to access the solicitation via the Internet may fax a request to 703-605-9298 or mail the request to the address above. TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Both of these requirements are now changed to two years. The changed language is in section (a) paragraph (11) and section (b) paragraph (1) of SCP-FSS-002.
