- This notice is being publicized in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.101 requiring Contracting Officer to disseminate information for proposed contract actions expected to exceed $25,000.00. Further in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1 it is the intent of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) to award a sole source purchase order to Harris Corporation. The Drug Enforcement Administration requires an upgrade and repair of the existing Stingray Systems which were manufactured by Harris Corporation and for which Harris Corporation holds sole proprietary rights. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotation. A Request for Quotation (RFQ) is not available. Closing date is September 17, 2008 at 9:00 AM Eastern Standard Time.
