- TACOM LCMC (RI) intends to award RACOM, 201 W. State St., PO Box 574, Marshalltown, IA 50158-0574 a contract for the radio units and accessories for the fire department and additional programming and set up, access to the RACOM radio network using RACOM portable, mobile, and base radio on a Sole Source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This effort also includes all technical service work, support, programming, and parts 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. This synopsis is being published for subcontracting purposes only. No solicitation is being issued. Offers from concerns other than the above are not solicited. This announcement is not a request for quotations. The organization intends to award this on or about Friday, September 12, 2008.
