- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Installation Contracting Command, Contracting Center of Excellence (CCE), Pentagon, on behalf of the Office of the Inspector General, Department of Defense intends to procure Cisco Unified MeetingPlace media conferencing hardware/software. This action will result in a Firm Fixed Price contract with no option periods. NOTICE TO OFFERORS: This is a brand name only product no or equal products will be accepted. Solicitation number HF1026-8203-0002-000 is applicable and is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-03. This is a Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS code for this contract action is 423690 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. The anticipated award date is 19 September 2008. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which will be considered. Offeror quotes will be evaluated on the basis of price and the ability to delivery equipment listed in the Statement of Work within the stated period of performance. All quotes must be submitted to the Point of Contact (POC) via email no later than 17 September 2008; 5:00PM EST.
