Description
The Marine Corps Systems Command, Quantico MCB, VA intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Gyrocam LLC located at 7345 16th Street East, Ste C-101,Sarasota, FL 34243, for the procurement of equipment repair support of damaged cameras, equipment operational training instructors, Field Service Representatives within the US Central Command AOR and CONUS support, and the both CONUS and OCONUS, the procurement of Gyrcam 360-Degree and VOSS II Cameras, and Gyrocam camera spare parts support required by USMC Operational Forces deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) and Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF). These requirements will only be issued as a complete package and will not issue multiple awards for this effort. The resulting contract will be a firm fixed price contract with 4 option years. Negotiation being conducted using other than full and open competition procedures pursuant to authority of FAR 6.302-1(b)(1). The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may! identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within five (5) days after date of publication of this synopsis. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in preparation of request for quotation. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered by the agency. The Marine Corps Systems Command intends to award a sole source contract five (5) business days after publication of this notice.
