- The US Army Medical Research Command has a requirement for annual maintenance contract to repair, calibrate and perform preventive maintenance on Smith and Nephew Dyonics orthroscopy Endoscopy equipment to include cameras, video, fluid management and scopes. These services require a higher echelon of maintenance that is available at a local level. Having manufacturer support ensures parts availability, factory trained personnel and other resources that are original equipment manufacturer. This vendor is the only known source with a repair and exchange program with overnight service. It is the Governments intent to award this requirement as a sole source to the manufacturer, Smith and Nephew, Inc. This is not a request for proposal. However, companies that can provide this maintenance service must submit their technical capabilities to include technical capabilities, past performance information, price and delivery time. This information will be reviewed by the Government technical representatives for consideration for future requirements.
