- ****AMENDMENT TO SOLICITATION (2 SEPTEMBER 2008)**** The following is hereby incorporated into the required statement of work: 1.) The floor coating must have a minimum thickness of 35 mils 2.) There is a 25 x 200 SF tractor wheel path which must have a minimum thickness of 70 mils ****AMENDMENT TO SOLICITATION #2 (10 SEPTEMBER 2008)**** The following is hereby incorporated into the statement of work: 1.) The tractor wheel path area requireing a minimum thickness of 70 mils is hereby changed from an area of "25x200" to an area of "80 x 235 LF or 18,800 SF" 2.) There are embeded wires in joints of the grey/white portion of the floor. These joints will need to be hand dug. 3.) Technical data sheets on the product used for application are required with proposal submission. 4.) The phrase in the second paragraph of the statement of work that reads "contractor shall submit test results with recommendations prior to the final award..." will be changed to "contractor shall submit test results with recommendations prior to contract performance." 5.) Contract bids will now be due NLT 3:00 PM CST, 17 September 2008. ****AMENDMENT TO SOLICITATION #3 (11 SEPTEMBER 2008)**** The hanger floor has been remeasured. The total SF has been changed from "60,200 SF plus or minus" to "48,000 SF plus or minus." Added: <input type="hidden" name="dnf_class_values[procurement_notice][description][1][added_on]" value="2008-09-11 09:33:40">Sep 11, 2008 9:33 am Modified: <input type="hidden" name="dnf_class_values[procurement_notice][description][1][modified_on]" value="2008-09-11 16:35:30">Sep 11, 2008 4:35 pm Track Changes ****QUESTIONS & ANSWERS FROM THE 8 SEPTEMBER 2008 SITE VISIT**** Q. How/what form should I use to submit my bid? A. There is no specific form required for bid submission. Company letterhead is fine. Q. What is the LF of the B-2 markings on the ground? A. There are two B-2 markings outlined in red; the diagram is attached for your reference. Q. Is there 480 power located in the building? A. Yes. Q. Can I get a blue print/diagram of the area? A. Unfortunately, because this is a SAR facility, we cannot post/send out any blue prints or diagrams. Q. Will this project be phased or can it be done all at once? A. 24 hr access will be provided to the contractor in order to complete the project all at once. Q. Are there imbedded wires in the joints? A. Yes. There are a total of eight ground points on the floor with braided cables running from them underneath. We do not know the exact depth of the wires. These joints will need to be removed by hand. They can be cut out with a knife because of the thickness of the cable, but mechanic means such as sawing/cutting should not be used here. Please see amendment 2 for the change in work. Note: The square footage of the tug path has changed from "25 x 200" to an area of "80 x 235 LF to total 18,800 SF."
