- The Securities and Exchange Commission intends to negotiate and award a sole source contract, using simplified acquisition procedures (under FAR 13.5) to William Irving, for assistance to the Office of Economic Analysis (OEA). The Contractor will work with SEC’s Economic Analysis employees to provide technical advice on the application of theory and evidence on industrial organization, competition and price setting in carious settings related to regulated entities. The period of performance will be through March 31, 2009. The intent of this synopsis is for informational purposes only, and is not a request for competitive bids; no solicitation will be used.
