- This acquisition is 100% small business set-aside and the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541512 with a small business size standard of $23.0 million.The National Institutes of Health (NIH) National Institute Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) have a requirement to procure consulting services to provide computer support necessary for the performance of research activities of the Perinatology Research Branch (PRB)/National Institutes of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD). The period of performance for this contract will be for one full calendar year. Please see attached for Statement of Work. CONTRACTOR REQUIREMENTS: 1.The Contractor shall furnish all the necessary personnel for the performance of the Statement of Work of this contract2.The Contractor will be available for meetings ( to include face-to-face meetings) and telephone consultations relevant to the scope of the Statement of Work FEDERAL GOVERNMENT RESPONSIBILITIES: 1.The Project Officer or other designated NICHD personnel will provide overall direction and an outline of the scope of specific services required to support the operation of the PRB.2.The Branch Chief and other designated NICHD personnel will be available to the Contractor for consultations relevant to the Statement of Work. Basis for Award: Offerors must provide descriptive literature or other material that demonstrates their offer meets the forgoing requirements. The contract will be awarded to the responsible offeror whose offer fully meets the requirements of the solicitation, provides the best value, with price and technical factors equally important in award evaluation. Offerors may request a copy of the Request for Quotation (RFQ) prior to the closing date of this notice or before September 22, 2008, 3pm est. Request for copies of the RFQ must be submitted to the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases, 6707 Democracy Boulevard, Two Democracy Plaza, Room 774B, Bethesda, MD 20892 to the Attention of Tina Robinson or via email: robinsti@mail.nih.gov.
