- Description
- The US Army is seeking to identify commercial sources who can manufacture commercial-off-the-shelf, non-developmental (COTS-NDI) items per FAR 12.1. The Government is planning to procure four items as follows: Nickel Metal Hydride (Ni-MH) factory mutual intrinsically safe (FM-IS), Lithium Ion (Li-Ion) Ultra-High Capacity Rechargeable Batteries, Single-Bay and Six-Bay Tri-Chemistry Battery Charger, the two chargers shall include a power supply AC input of 100-240V 50-60Hz. The Ni-MH (FM-IS) and Li-Ion batterys nominal voltage is 7.5V, the current capacity is approximately 3800mAh or better. The four items must meet and exceed the original equipment manufacturers (OEM) specifications for the EF Johnson 5100 Series, the AN-PRC-127EFJ Radio Set. Note, the Government is not interested in prototypes. Interested source shall provide estimated range prices for the four items. Any interested sources please send information or email for evaluation starting September 8, 2008 ending October 08, 2007, to US Army, CECOM LCMC Communications Directorate, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-COM-R-MR (Mr. Henry Louie), Bldg. 1202W, Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703-5000. All information must be submitted and received no later than October 08, 2008. This is a market survey requesting information only. The submission of this information is for planning purposes and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to procure any items-services, or for the Government to pay for the information received.
