Description: Modification to above Solicitation number is issued to make the following changes. Changes are highligted in bold print: 1. Removed FAR Clauses 52.223-11 and 252.247-7003 ALT III. 2. Added Clause 52.223-6. 3. Extended the Response due date from 09 Sep 2008 to read 19 Sep 2008. 4. Extended Questions concerning Solicitation due date from 04 Sep 2008 to read 16 Sep 2008. 5. Incorporated 'specification drawings' to indicate how the systems are to be configured as an attachment. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as Request for Quotation (RFQ) No. FA7012-08-T-0050. The solicitation document; incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-26. The North American Industry Classification System code is 443112 with a business size standard of $8.0 Million. The proposed contract is 100 percent set-aside for small business. "THE GOVERNMENT SHALL NOT REIMBURSE ANY EXPENSES INCURRED TO PROSPECTIVE OFFERORS FOR RESPONSE TO THIS SOLICITATION. THE GOVERNMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CANCEL THIS SOLICITATION, EITHER BEFORE OR AFTER THE CLOSING DATE. NOTICE TO OFERORS: Funds are not presently available for this project. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. EVALUATION PROCEDURES: The Government will select the best overall offer based on price and other factors considered. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, will be the most advantageous to the Government in accordance with the requirement. Only those offerors determined to be in compliant with the requirements as stated in this solicitation will be considered for award. If offering an equal product, interested parties must submit clear and convincing descriptive literature demonstrating the capabilities to satisfy the requirement specified above. Non-conformance with this requirement may result in offeror's quote being determined unacceptable.
