- The Bureau of Prisons intends to solicit and negotiate a Sole Source award to Business & Legal Reports (BLR) to provide the Bureau of Prisons with Bureau-wide Web based access to all State and Federal Occupational Safety and Environmental Compliance regulations as well as a variety of mission critical and required training tools. The award will be processed under the authority of 41 U.S.C.253(c)(1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.301-2 utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The period of performance is for one year, beginning on 9/26/2008 and ending on 9/25/2009. This announcement constitutes the only announcement for this requirement. Quotations are not being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Any responses received within 10 days of this notice of intent shall be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement for future requirements. A determination by the Government to open this requirement to competition, based upon written responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Faith-based and Community-based organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
