- The 96th Contracting Squadron, Eglin AFB, FL, intends to solicit and award a sole source Firm-Fixed-Price contract to Tektronix Inc for a 12 GS/s waveform generator under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Eglin Operations require waveforms be generated with a minimum speed of 12GS/s; a capability offered by the Tektronix generator. Anticipated award date is 19 September 2008. The North American Industry Classification System for this acquisition is 334515, with a small business size standard of 500 employees. Interested parties may submit their capabilities package to the email address below. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals/quotes. However, the government will consider all responses received prior to the solicitation closing time and date. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
