- The Federal Medical Center, Lexington, KY is soliciting quotations under Request for Quote (RFQ) 10907-014-8 for Fire Hydrants. Award date will be approximately September 24, 2008, with offers due by September 19, 2008, 2:00 PM EDST. This solicitation is restricted to 100% Small Business, FOB Destination. Deliveries will be made to the Federal Medical Center, 3001 Leestown Rd., Lexington, KY 40511. The contract type is a firm-fixed price. The Government will award to the responsible offeror, whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, that is considered to be most advantageous to the Government, with price being the determining factor. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit offers/bids equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The solicitation will be made available on September 9, 2008 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to insure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition.. Payment will be made using Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). Along with the Fire Hydrant, please submit quote for the following items" 1. 6" mechanical gate valve, ground stop 2. accessory kit (gaskets and bolts) for the gate valve above 3. valve box - 4" cast iron pipe box with lid 4. anchor kits that bolt hydrant and pipe to prevent slippage 5. 3/4 " duct iron lug
