- DESC: 1005-01-033-1501, Part Number 11826177. The item to procure is a Pawl, Ammunition Feed. Requirements are 6,700 (guaranteed minimum), Pawl, Ammunition Feed: C/O (2) Holding Pawls Helical Compression Springs, (2) Feed Pawl Helical Compression Springs and Feed Pawl Bracket Assembly to include upper and under Bracket Assembly, Roller, Inner and Outer links 1050 to 1060, heat treatment and phosphate or cadmium coating per drawing specifications and (3) Spacers. The parts are formed and machined from steel bar, carbon, 1055 to 1065 or steel, sheet or stip. Proposed contract is 100% small business set-aside. FOB is Destination. For use on the M240 Machine Gun. Estimated issue date is September 25, 2008. This solicitation incorporates a Technical Data Package (TDP) that cannot be provided via the internet. Before a TDP package can be provided, a non-disclosure and non-use agreement must be completed and returned to TACOM LCMC (RI), Attn: AMSTA-LC-WSCA/Ms. Sue McGregor, Rock Island, IL 61299-7630 or completed for may be faxed to Ms. McGregor at (309) 782-0241 or emailed to sue.mcgregor@us.army.mil. A copy of the agreement will be included as an attachment to the solicitation and will not be available until the solicitation is issued. A TDP will be provided by normal mail after the non-disclosure and non-use agreement has been executed. A license agreement between FN Herstal and the US Government requires the items procured to be manufactured exclusively in the US and Canada. The successful offeror under this solicitation agrees to manufacture the items being procured under this contract, exclusively in the US and Canada. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same.
