Description

The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. The United States Air Force intends to negotiate sole source award with with Quest Diagnostics for the purchase of: Provide sample analysis and testing for common stress hormones samples provided by Wilford Hall Medical Center Principal Investigator on a regular basis. Perform samples analysis for the evaluation of 200 patients. 5 tests will be conducted six times each per patient. All laboratory results should be provided to Wilford Hall/Major Savage within 5-7 working days. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals nor a solicitation for offers. However, all proposals received within 3 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any interested party may inquire with the point of contacts.
