- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation/reference number is F4A3258172AM01; this solicitation is a request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-26 and DFARS Change Notice (DCN) 20080812. This acquisition will be a 100% small business set-aside; the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 337214. The business size standard is 500 Employees. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is 7125. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 2522. Please note: The procurement of this requirement is subject to the availability of funds. This request for quotation consists of the following line items: 0001: Moveable Shelving; Shelves must be able to allow access from both sides; Shelving unit must be in four sections holding three 1-cubic foot boxes in each section; Unit must be six shelves high and must be on a rotary track system; Also include eleven moveable double-sided shelves, and two fixed shelves and floor covering; Unit Color: Black; Require dismantling and removal of old system, and installation of new system. Include Freight and Inside Delivery in price. A site visit is scheduled for Friday, Sep 12, 2008 at 10am Central Standard Time. This site visit will be held at Bldg 662 on Tyndall AFB, FL. Schematic of size and placing of shelving is attached. Items must be delivered to: Bldg 662, Tyndall AFB, FL 32403. The following provisions and/or clauses apply to this acquisition.
